You have a great place there in Mission Beach. I visited some years ago and have always intended to return at some stage. This website has me thinking about it now.

Just a quick note the acknowledge the excellent service we had from Wendi and Laurali of Wongalinga at Mission Beach. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The trip to the Great Barrier Reef and our visit to Murdering Point Winery were the highlights. We have left Mission with a crate of exotic fruit wines for everyone back home. Thank you to all who helped make our holiday a very enjoyable one.

Loved our stay in Mission Beach. The weather was absolutely perfect and everyone we met very fridnely. Had the best time on the reef on Quick Cat, crew were excellent. My only suggestion is the town needs more restaurants. We dined at Zestivales and friends most of the time, luckily the food there was superb, especially at Zestivale. We will be back for another visit. Special thanks to Quick Cat crew, Peter of Zestivale and Dave and may.

Do the residents of Mission Beach know that Andrew Wright of Calypso Dive is a bit of a hero here in our country. He is the face of scuba in Oz. Mission Beach should be proud.

"Calypso Dive" - I saw your comment below and I agree. It is one of the best dive operations I have had the very good fortune to encounter. In Mission Beach there is ONLY ONE dive operation as far as I'm concerned.

Loved Mission Beach!! Travellers should be aware that local dive operator "CALYPSO DIVE" is a very highly acclaimed dive operator. They have a great reputation over here in my country so I had high expectations - I wasn't let down!!

Mission Beach is a great place!!! I will definitely be back to settle again. No other place like Mission Beach and you will surely miss it when you're miles away from this place.

Mission was great. But the best thing was the reef. You should do more to let people know about the locations you take people to from Mission Beach. This was my fifth reef trip but the first from Mission and Beaver Cay was bar far the best location I've experienced. It was such a joy not to see a row of other tourist boats all lined up depositing their p####engers in the water. If you are interested in the Great Barrier reef, Mission Beach is the place to depart.

Things we liked best about Cassawong Cottages: not just child friendly but child welcoming, lush gardens, clean and well organised, tasteful cottages, you encouraged us to stay longer and get a discount,,,so we did. Helpful, friendly and interested owners. The BBQ's made for very easy meals. Great job!

We would like to thank this nice web site for first introducing Mission Beach to us back in January when we were planning our holiday. We didn't even know where Mission Beach was let alone were considering it. However it quickly came apparent it was worth a try. We would like to thank Castaways Resort, the excellent staff of the Quick Cat boat and my children want to send a big hello to Paul and Helen from Club C####owary (they are now mini golfing champs). We will be back to Mission Beach again, not next year but maybe the year after. Thank you to all David, Claire, Tony and Trudy.

Great place to play. Check out the cats, we couldn't get off them and the guy gave us an extra hour free. You wouldn't get that in bloody Port Douglas would you. We go to Mission now at least once a month to unwind. love it.

We would like to convey our gratitude to Mission Beach for making our group feel more than welcome during our recent conference/break. We were spread out over six accommodation houses and, at the end of our stay, we had collectively sampled about every tour available. Everyone had an enjoyable time. This is one of those rare occasions where not a single complaint was received from anyone. Well done Mission Beach, you have impressed all of us.

I have just made a booking and will be arriving in Mission Beach on December 14. I wanted to let you know how wonderful this website is. We were planning a Port Douglas holiday but we couldn't go past Mission Beach after what we have seen here. We are looking forward to it and thank you. Ricky.

We came to Townsville from Melbourne and made a big mistake. Townsville nice but not for us. We found this Mission website and decided to come straight up. You would not believe the relief when we got to Mission. For the rest of our holiday we had a fabulous time. I loathed all things internet but now I am converted, the internet saved our holiday. Thank you very much. We will be back again.

Having spent some time at South Mission, I just want to say that the only country/scenery comparable in beauty and uniqueness is the Australian Central Desert. Kicking back on Kennedy Esplanade with some really good friends, guitar in hand watching the moon rise above Dunk is purely magic.
